I'm still amazed by the progress of technology, yet disturbed by its limitations.
Robotics can take us so far with the articulation of joints and the fine movements of fingers. While amazing to view, those articulations remain more robotic than lifelike.
We now see fine motor skills being used to obtain a lifelike human mouth. No matter how hard they try, plastic still shows how obviously inferior it is to human skin. The jerky movements of every servo show how imperfect our understanding of the emulation of human movement is limited.
We strive to perfect the imitation of something that is truly imperfect.

Thank you!
DeviantArt is a community I neglected to a fault. I should have been posting here for years. This really is an awesome community, and even a single like on a photograph I created brings me immense joy and confidence. I'll do my best to keep up and give the same support I receive. Thank you all!
Work.
Hey everyone!
I hope you all had a good holiday! Things haven't been bad here, but I've been busy with work. I haven't had a chance to shoot much, and the stuff I've shot has been related to weddings and such. I might post some of those, but I'm not sure.
I'll be back soon once work winds down.
Pittsburgh Penguins
The Pens are on a roll.
Three games of almost total domination against the Hurricanes.
Game seven against Washington was surreal. 6-2? Holy crap!!!!!!
I have officially adopted Bill Guerin as my new dad.
LETS GO PENS!!!!!!!!
Whoa!
Who would've thought that a team with the TOUGHEST schedule in NFL history, would come out of it at 12-4 to eventually WIN the Super Bowl?
Willie Parker had a 72 yard touchdown run in Super Bowl XL... the longest run from scrimmage since Marcus Allen's Super Bowl appearance with the Raiders.
And now, an undrafted, undersized and under-rated linebacker named James Harrison would return an interception for 100 yards and a touchdown at the end of the half to set another Superbowl record.
The Cardinals, in a hole at the end of the second half, blew by the best defense in the league to take the lead... and Big Ben fought back.
